On this day when Samantha Furtado, Ethan de Aguiar, Matias Ezcurra, Trevor Girard finally met for the last time at the Bridgewater Dunkin Donuts before our trip began, the reality of what we were about to do finally sunk in. planning was over and we were set to start our journey the next morning. Trevor arrived with all his luggage packed and it seemed like there was no turning back. The excitement and curiosity started to build in our minds. Our meeting was refreshing because all our last minute questions were answered. We reviewed our itinerary, cultural protocols, and with all the excitement and curiosity also came anxiousness. Our advisor, Jabbar Al-Obaidi reassured us that we would be fine and he guaranteed that this would be an unforgettable social and cultural experience. We made our final checks making sure we had everything we needed and we had a ride to the airport at the right time. Then we departed to our respective homes for our last day on this continent.
